Hello fellow wordsmiths!
Another day, another milestone for your Word of the Day Challenge website… This Sunday, the total of members of the challenge officially reached the first hundred! How exciting!!
Only fourty five days into our new journey, and already a hundred people gathered to share daily thoughts and feelings and artwork.
By going through the stats, I also noticed that everyday, something between twenty and thirty ones of you leave a pingback so we can all enjoy your work… It is pretty amazing to me, and I think I speak for all four of us, administrators, when I say;
Thank you!
As said previously, we do this for you, and your warm feedback is appreciated, day after day. Keep up the good work, keep blogging and keep having fun!

The first time I could not fit the word in my post. Woebegone? Seriously 😳? I mean, ok, if I really stretched it. 😜 Thank you for hosting this challenge! (And thanks for not blocking me… yet) 😯

No worries about the blocking, ArtisanX 🙂 Feedback is appreciated, as long as it is constructive and respectful. Some people have mentioned that some of the words were too unusual to their liking, and they are usually my picks. I will consider this for my future posts…
Thank you for your comment 🙂 xx

Congratulations on this Milestone. It’s great to hear this site is growing into such a large community and thriving. As one of the followers, I do appreciate your efforts and the (mostly) easy to work with prompt words. 🙂

Thank you Christine 🙂 We had a few comments about some words being a bit too uncommon. And I think, these are usually my picks, because I love unusual words… I will keep this in mind for future posts 🙂 xx

In my mind, a prompt should serve to set people up, give them a base on which to build their story and use their own uncommon words. Words like rotundity may be great in a reply, but plump will open a lot more muses’ doors. 🙂
It’s a bit like a good teacher: your goal is not teaching new facts as much as teaching children to discover, to be enthused about discovering.

Oh no! Don’t think I was complaining (it was sarcasm, the very common tragic misfortune of a text message) Don’t change! I love the words!! I really enjoy the challenge of words like that!! 😁 Thank you for the reply!!

Hehehehe it is sometimes a bit complicated to be sure about the tone of a comment, when you don’t know its author personally 😉 Thank you for straightening this up! xxx
