  1. Down upon the ladder
    I detect a hostile force
    I’m firing blazing arrows
As you escape upon your horse
It’s just been me, beneath the tree
Since you filed for our divorce
    I’m sad, I’m hurt, I’m angry
    And paranoid. Of course.

      1. It’s not something that I gave all that much thought to …. I suppose the person at the bottom of the ladder represents rising anxiety …. the tree represents the shelter of family … and the horse represents a new lover. One could read more into that, I suppose, in terms of sexual jealousy if one were to consider the term ‘hung like a horse’ …. but that may be taking it too far.

The fact is that I really like your drawings whether or not I understand their meanings.

      2. Thank you, I really like your meaning even if my picture isn’t especially meant to have one. 😁
Your answer is so very creative and philosophical; excellent!.
