Hello fellow wordsmiths!

Yes, September is now over, and today we celebrate the beginning of our fifth month with the Word of the Day Challenge!

Four months have gone by already! That’s 122 words of the day, 10 art pieces from our lovely collaborator Kira, and 5 photo prompts to try to inspire you. And it is a pleasure to keep working everyday to welcome more and more writers in. Can you believe that 231 people have joined the Word of the Day Challenge so far??

And just as I was preparing this little note, we received very exciting news! Check this out;

It is pretty amazing to me, and I think I speak for all three of us, administrators, when I say;

Thank you!

As said previously, we do this for you, and your warm feedback is appreciated, day after day. Keep up the good work, keep blogging and keep having fun!

  1. Reblogged this on Tales from the mind of Kristian and commented:

    This is a fantastic milestone for The Word of the Day site, of which I am proud to say I am one of the founder members along with Cyranny’s Cove, Dee Kelly of Thriving not Surviving and, of course, Calmkate of Aroused, who has now left to pursue other projects.

    If you are looking for a word prompt challenge then come along and have a look at this one. There are some fab ones out there too.

    Have a Nice Monday. 🙂

  2. What a happy milestone! I would like to thank the prompters/administrators for their dedication, time and lending of talents, to make this a friendly and ever creative site.
