The Word of the Day is Jock,
This is one of those words that aren’t really used in the UK, at least as far as I’m aware. I’d never use it.
I believe it means someone who is enthusiastic about sport, but has come to mean someone enthusiastic about anything, like a computer jock. In the UK it used to be a friendly slang term for a Scottish person.
Anyway, that’s the word, so I hope you enjoy using it in a story or a poem, please link to the original word of the day post and not my reblog, in order to share your post with other people taking part in the challenge.
