The Word of the Day is Commit.
Commit today to yourself, begin anew, afresh. Vow to be the best you can be.
Now, I hope this word inspires you to create a new post, please share it with the Word of the Day following by including a link to the original post in your post.
Have a great Friday. 🙂

I would love to take part in your Word of the day Challenge but having looked before at how to create a pingback I’m fairly certain I don’t have the time to commit to taking part. (I don’t think I will ever live long enough to struggle with the intricacies of how to create a pingback).

You can add a link to your post in the comment if that’s easier.
If you want to try a pingback, it isn’t as complicated as it sounds. If you view your post as HTML then past this in: Commit that will create one. Then for each post you change the link to the day’s post (this part: https://wordofthedaychallenge.wordpress.com/2019/02/22/commit/) and change the word “Commit” to the word of the day.

https://www.joewellsofwhomithasbeensaid.com/2019/02/word-of-day-challenge-itching.html I had a go and am fairly certain I have made a pigs ear of it, unfortunately I was going to try putting this link in the comments section but it said it was closed. Frequently computers don’t make sense to me!!

Lol. I’m not sure it worked but the link you put with your comment did. 😁

I have a feeling pingbacks are probably much easier than I think, but at the moment when you can just copy you link in the comments box and it works, why use pingbacks. The problem of course is when it says comments are now closed! One of these days I may have that eureka moment when I suddenly see how to do pingbacks, until then, as they say “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it.” As long as there is a comments box!
