Reblogged this on Tales from the mind of Kristian and commented:
The Word of the Day is Honour, or Honor.
In the UK we spell it Honour but when Webster was putting together his dictionary he decided to drop the U’s from a number of words that he felt it just wasn’t needed, hence we have Colour/Color, Honour/honor and Valour/Valor.
One of those things that makes UK/US interactions so interesting.
I hope you enjoy using this word, Honour/Honor, in a story or a poem.
Have fun.
